About me
Since 2011 I've been a front-end web developer for Ookla, the company that created Speedtest.net. My official job title is User Experience Engineer. With the help of several other very talented designers and developers, I wrote a good portion of the markup, styles, and client-side javascript for Speedtest.net and Ookla.com. These sites are viewed millions of times every month by people across the world.
I pride myself on creating beautiful, hand-crafted, accessible, and performant websites. I've worked remote since 2011 and I absolutely love it.
Apart from work, I love to play and watch soccer, go to concerts, play video games, and make art with code. If there's any time left over, I sometimes help raise my four children. I know how to juggle. I have one tattoo. I enjoy karaoke but I am not very good at it.
